Nontando Mthembu's "Fresh Start" Zesty Chicken Marinade

Ingredients

  • 100 ml Lemon and Herb PERi-PERi Sauce
  • 30 ml Brown sugar
  • 30 ml Lemon rind
  • 60 ml Six gun sprinkle
  • 30 ml Sparerib sprinkle
  • 10 ml Smoked Paprika

To serve

It is best on grilled or baked chicken, can also be used as a dipping sauce for fried chicken strips.

Cooking Instructions

Mix up all the ingredients in a bottle that can be sealed, shake and refrigerate overnight,

Pat dry your defrosted chicken, grill, and when it's half cooked, brush your chicken with the marinade and put back on the grill for further cooking.

If you like, you can also use this as a dipping sauce for your chicken.
