Anam's "Hawks" Vulamlomo Tatter Bombs

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Lemon and Herb PERi-PERi Sauce
  • 6 units Potatoes
  • 60 ml Chillies
  • 6 ml Red peppers
  • 60 ml Cream cheese
  • 3 ml Smoked paprika
  • 30 ml Honey
  • 6 ml Flour
  • 6 units Egg yolks
  • 250 ml Flour
  • 250 ml Butter milk
  • 3 ml Salt
  • 350 ml Oil
  • 300 g Bread crumbs

To serve

These are served on a bowl and can be eating while you dunk them on your Lemon and herb sauce.Chop some parsley and spring onions as garnish for the Vulamlomo Tatter Bombs.Enjoy

Cooking Instructions

Boil your potatoes until soft and mash. Mix with your 6ml flour and 2 egg yolks and a pinch of salt.

Blend your Nandos lemon and herb sauce+cream cheese+honey+red peppers+ chillies+smoked paprika+ pinch of salt.

Make small balls with the mash (golf ball size). Make a hole in them using your thumb. With a spoon scoop your blended mixture,pour inside the hole,close it up and make it into a ball again.

3 bowls of -butter milk -bread crumbs-egg yolks (season with a pinch of salt)Dunk your tatter bombs in-Yolks /bread crumbs/butter milk/ bread crumbs /yolks/ bread crumbs/ butter milk /bread crumbsThis depends on how many coats you want. You can repeat the process again if you want a thicker crust.

Make sure your oil is hot Dunk in your tatter balls. Cook for 15 minutes until they are golden brown.
